The Danger 1000 Ocean Swim is certainly one that you should add to your calendar. Referred to by locals as ‘cosy corner’, the protected beach at Torquay is sheltered by Point Danger, making the swimming conditions simply idyllic. Only an hours dive from Melbourne, this swim is the perfect event for a family day out with great views of the course for spectators, plenty of shade and heaps of free parking.
