Island Charity Swim
WHY CHOOSE THIS SWIM?
The Island Charity Swim takes place on magical Mudjimba Beach on the Sunshine Coast. Every year, swimmers gather to take part in an 11km ocean swim from Mudjimba, out to Old Woman Island and into Mooloolaba. Swimmers raise money to help the Nambour & Currimundi Special Schools.
There is a choice to swim as a solo or as part of a team. The majority of the swim takes place 2km off shore and so all swimmers must have a paddler to accompany them.
It is a fantastic event that showcases some of the best of the Sunshine Coast. Most importantly it helps to raise awareness and funds for the Special Schools in the area.
