North Bondi Classic
WHY CHOOSE THIS SWIM?
There is no wonder why the North Bondi Classic Ocean Swim is such a popular ocean event. Located on one of the Worlds most well known beaches, it attracts hundreds of competitors from both near and far every year.
It offers a great opportunity for people using swimming as part of their fitness regime, to have a go at a supervised ocean swim and to challenge themselves and see how their progress is going. It also has some awesome prizes on offer.
Organisation and water safety is carried out by North Bondi SLSC.
WHAT DISTANCES ARE AVAILABLE?
- 1km
- 2km
WHAT ARE THE COURSES?
Starting in front of North Bondi SLSC, swimmers head out past the breakers, then south before turning back for the beach and exiting where they entered. Both courses are similar but the 1km swim is a little smaller version of he 2km course.
IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE?
- 10 years
