Sunshine Coast Solstice Swim
WHY CHOOSE THIS SWIM?
The Sunshine Coast Solstice Swim Charity Swim is an Ocean Swim that is open to all levels of experience and is carried out under the watchful eye of the fantastic team at Alexandra Surf Club.
The 1km course is the perfect introduction to ocean swimming. Or if you’re seasoned ocean swimmer, the 2km course might just be enough. Maybe you’d like to push your limits beyond the typical open water distance with the 3km course.
Whether you are seasoned swimmer or aspiring triathlete, it’s a great opportunity to conquer your PB while making a difference to our community and helping raise funds for Charity.
The first Sunshine Coast Solstice Swim took place in 2017 with 50 swimmers heading to the beach outside the Alexandra Headlands Surf Club on a beautiful Sunday morning.
The fund raising success of the event depends on the generosity of the attendees, supporters and volunteers. All funds raised will be donated back into the local community by supporting local ‘Rotary, Alexandra Headland’ and ‘The Young Veterans‘ here on the Sunshine Coast – charities we believe are close to the heart for many people.
